April Lockhart

April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, began taking guitar and piano lessons at age seven. The passion for creating songs was sparked. April's first song was Different which she composed at 12 years of age. The year she turned 14 was when she was devoted for a long period of time in making song lyrics and working on her musical skills. After that, she started taking excursions to write with her father in NY in New York and LA. The month also saw her include other related topics for some of her friends dealing with such things as peer pressure disabilities and even teens who commit suicide through the songs"Take" my Hand. Lockhart is a well-known lifestyle influencer as well as working in partnerships with clean beauty brands Ilia and YSL, has cultivated her own fan base. Lockhart was never born having a left-handed hand, which is the reason she's the person she is. However, that's not the full story. Lockhart does not deny that she has a disability on her Instagram account, but she doesn't make it the focus of her story. What is the message? that we are all a part of a multitude of identities and that we're much greater than the physical person we are. Lockhart tells Lockhart via video "I do not believe that disability will define my character. It's not my intention to be an influencer on disabilities because I've got so much more to offer." This doesn't interfere with my everyday life. It's all normal, and I've learned how to make adjustments. The same is true for my life, and I think that it is something to be talked about. Lockhart inspires us to keep moving forward with self-acceptance. However, she admits that she has had periods when she felt uncomfortable with her appearance, and the clothes with arms. She wears what she likes and posts photos of herself in the outfits she picks out on social media. One of the keys to self-love for her is that it's not a place to go. But, this isn't common for anyone with doubts. It is essential to be around people who can really know the person you are.
