Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France was born the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey is the oldest child in a family of four. Audrey's parents, both a dental dentist as well as a teacher, understood and supported their daughter's passion for drama and theater at the age of a stage novice. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to combat her goal of becoming a the first primatologist. At the age of a young lady the rise to fame was swift and ended with the beginning of her recognition and success. When she finished her education, she participated in the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the award for the best young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her acting career. Tautou is a pupil of the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and enrolled in the school at the age of a child but has sworn off her Catholic education. She now says she is not a Catholic. She has pursued a modeling career in addition to her acting work and is the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense passion for photography. She recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival, titled Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on celebrity and fame, and then turns her camera to the media who sat on her shoulders after her meteoric rise to stardom with Amelie and self-portraits. Audrey Tautou's global popularity and success exploded following her performance as Amelie Poulain's main actress in the film Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie. Amelie is undoubtedly a huge box office smash internationally and recognized at many awards events around the globe. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released to be released in the US. After this huge success, Tautou starred in a variety of films, including British dramatics, such as Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things and Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. Also, she starred with Tom Hanks in Ron Howard's The Da Vinci Code directed by Dan Brown.
